The countdown has begun as Gulf Film, the region’s leading film distributor, and Novo Cinemas, the Middle East’s largest chain of cinemas, subsidiaries of Qatar Media Services, announce the the Middle East premiere of Taken 3, with international movie star Liam Neeson in attendance. The red carpet reception and screening will take place on 12th January 2015 at Novo Cinemas Cineplex, and will be open to the general public in a first-of-its-kind event in Dubai.
Selim El Azar, CEO of Gulf Film, the Middle East distributor of Taken 3, commented, “The Taken franchise has earned its place as one of the most successful film franchises of the past decade. Liam Neeson has enjoyed a multi-faceted film career that includes such noteworthy movies as Les Misérables, Batman Begins, Schindler’s List, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, as well as the first two blockbuster instalments of the Taken franchise. His role as retired special agent Bryan Mills, a man with “a particular set of skills”, has helped earn the Taken franchise a global following.

Tickets to the Taken 3 red carpet premiere go on sale December 21st and can be booked via novocinemas.com and at the Novo Cinemas Cineplex (near Wafi City) Box Office.
